Carson Swim Team

Carson has been doing swim team this summer and I am so proud of how well he has done and for sticking with it. It has been a little challenging but he loves to swim and his strokes are getting better every day. He was been to 3 swim meets so far and even got to have Nana and Gramps come watch his last one. He has lots of ribbons from the races that he did. He has his championship meet coming up which will be the last one of the summer! Good job Carson!

 

 

 

Lagoon

The middle of July we went to Lagoon as a family. This is the first time that the kids have been and they loved it! Carson was tall enough for most rides and went on everything he could. Shalise and Marcus loved the smaller rides and one blue rollar coaster that was really fun. We ate dinner there and just had a really nice day together as a family.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Saratoga Summer Splash

 

 

 

The city has a fun Summer Splash every year where the kids can go do fun bouncy houses, they have booths and the kid loved to see the Helicopter and Fire Truck! We also got signed up to do Tai Kwan Do lessons for a free for a whole month! The kids had a really fun time!

No Room

I told Shalise the other day that she needed to sleep in her own bed instead of on my floor and she told me that she couldn't because there was no room. I went to go see why and found all her little babies in her bed, I guess there isn't any room for her...

Making Jam

I made Strawberry Jam at the beginning of the summer and had a great little helper. Carson was a big help and liked all the jobs he got to do making jam. He doesn't like to eat the jam but he had a fun time making it!

Running Errands

I told Shalise the other day to get ready to go run errands with me and this is what I found... I don't think her idea of how long errands take is the same as mine...

Summer Studying

Kids have started out their summer doing a good job of doing a worksheet a day so they don't forget everything they've learned when school starts! :)
