Marcus and Carson started school the end of August, this was the first day of 1st grade and 3rd grade. Can't believe how big they are getting!

End of Summer Swim Meet
Carson did such a great job on Swim Team all summer. This was from his championship meet. He took 2nd place in the Freestyle which was amazing since there were even more competitors there! There's a picture with one of his coaches and then one with a girl names Kyah that he was friends with. I am so proud of him!

Night Riding with the McCords
After riding our machines a bunch of times, the McCords decided to get their own 4wheeler so we went out a few days after Carson's birthday to try it out. It was a "night ride" up the mountain with them and some friends of the kids, we had a great time. Carson is doing really well on his motorcycle and I am impressed with how well he handles it! And I think the McCords are glad they bought a 4wheeler and are enjoying it so far!

Carson's birthday was on a Sunday this year so we celebrated on Saturday. We went as a family to see the movie "Turbo" and then Nana and Gramps joined us for dinner at Cafe Rio. Then on Sunday Carson opened his presents. He got a new Wii game, a pocket watch and a new Fox Riding shirt to wear when he rides his motorcycle. Carson doesn't like cake so he bought a few cupcakes for the family and he had ice cream. Can't believe he is already 8, time flies when you are having fun!!
24th of July
The kids were very excited to do some fireworks on the 24th of July. The only ones they really love are the snaps and the smoke bombs so that was great and cheap for us! We started while it was still light outside so they could see the smoke bombs. They had a fun time!
