Last week I took the kids to the Children's Museum to enjoy the last $2 Tuesday in August. They had a really fun time!

American Fork Beach
Yesterday we went to another "beach" type place in American Fork that we found. We went with Alli and Jean and it was really fun. We were there for almost 3 hours! The kids are going to be so sad that summer is over and we won't be doing things like this anymore. :(

Carson Starts 1st Grade!
Carson started 1st grade today and was very excited! I was so sad to see him go, it was a lot more emotional for me than when he started Kindergarten! I have so enjoyed having him at home all summer and I am going to miss him being gone all day at school. :( I am so excited for him though and I know he will do great!
Cowabunga Bay With The Cousins
We had a fun day at Cowabunga Bay with the cousins! My aunt Jean is visiting from Colombia, so her, my mom and a bunch of the kids went to Cowabunga Bay and we had a really fun time! The kids really liked all the slides and the pool and they were sad when it was time to go! It was a really fun day and the kids loved it!

Shalise gets Stitches
Last week Shalise got her hand slammed in the door and ended up with stitches! It was pretty windy that day and the wind blew the front door shut and unfortunately her finger was in it! I took her to the instacare and they said that the whitish-yellowish stuff coming out was definitely not normal, it was fat tissue indicating that the cut was pretty deep. She was scared but she was a trooper while she got her finger numbed with the biggest needle I have ever seen! I almost passed out right there! She got her 4 stitches and we were outta there. I don't know who was more traumatized, her or me! She gets them off in a couple days but has done pretty well with them. Poor girl!
