Christmas Eve 2015

On Christmas Eve Shalise made cookies for Santa and then we went to dinner with Tim and his family. The kids were excited that Dante was there. We went to the "Mongolion Grill". It was really good and fun to hang out with Tim and his family. Then the kids came home and opened their Christmas Pajamas. They were very excited for Santa to come!

Making Gingerbread Houses

We started out the Christmas break by making Gingerbread Houses. Shalise decorated a house and Marcus decorated a train. Carson watched a movie and I was recovering from another cortisone shot in my knee.

Snow Day!

A week before Christmas we got a snow storm that knocked out some power so the kids school got cancelled and we got to enjoy a snow day! Since they got out that means I did too! It was great to be home and relax, Shalise took the opportunity to take naps and Carson took full advantage of the snow day and went sledding a couple different times.

Happy Birthday Shalise!

We celebrated Shalise's birthday a little early this year again. We gave her birthday presents to her a couple weeks before Christmas. She got some Shopkin stuff and stuffed animals. We also got cupcakes for her and Sidney's birthdays to celebrate when we had dinner at Heather's a week before Christmas. Shalise also got to go out to dinner with Nana and Gramps for her birthday and she had so much fun!

Shalise Singing Performance

Shalise is part of a singing group and got to perform twice before the holidays. She performed at a Rest Home and then just at the church for family and friends to watch. She loved it and did such a great job! She absolutely loves her costume too it is very cute on her. :)

Dressing Up

I was asked to be a judge the high school "Dancing Up a Storm" ballroom show. It's like Dancing with the stars but high school kids dance with different people in the community who are the "stars". It was fun to judge both nights and watch the performances. I also got to take my students from Lakeview to perform both nights, they loved it!

First Snow

It snowed over Thanksgiving break so the kids got to go out and play. They had fun sledding and playing in the snow and then I took them on the Ranger and pulled the kids behind it with the sleds. They took a bunch of their friends with us and thought it was pretty fun!
