Weekend at the Cabin

Our friends, Jed and Emily, and their kids went with us to the cabin last weekend and we had a great time. There were lots of fun mudpuddles for our long rides. We went to Ephraim's grave (the bear) and saw a large monument that was dedicated to the bear. The kids all had a great time playing together and Jed makes some pretty awesome pancakes! We had Mickey mouse, Minnie mouse, a deer, hearts, smiley faces with licorice, it was pretty creative! Here are some pictures:

Summer Fun!!

Pony Express Days were last weekend and we had a lot of fun! We went to the carnival one afternoon and spent a few hours there. Last year Marcus did not want anything to do with rides or carousels or anything, but this year the kid was singing a different tune, he loved it! As you can tell by his face in the pictures. They kids all loved it and we had a really fun time. We also went to a parade and Jake and I were both surprised that the kids last two hours! It probably had something to do with all the candy they were throwing out... Shalise was eating candy faster than they could give it to her! She was in heaven! They thought it was pretty cool and we all had fun watching it.

Later after the parade we decided to take the kids to Classic Waterslides. It was really fun and the kids all loved it. The kiddie pool was great for all of them and Carson even did the waterslides himself! With his lifejacket of course, but he was very proud of himself that he could do it alone. We got season passes for the summer and I'm glad we did because the kids love it and I'm sure we will be going often! So our summer is off to a great start! We are so happy to have warm weather, finally!!

Shalise loves her Nana and Gramps!

Nana and Gramps were out here to visit last week and the kids were so excited to see them! Shalise especially loved sitting with them. She kept getting a book and taking it to Gramps to read it to her. And she also loved sitting and snuggling with her Nana.

Memorial Weekend at the Cabin

We spent Memorial weekend at the cabin. Jake and I went with the kids and they had a TON of fun. They do really well on rides and we went on one ride that was about 4 hours! We packed our lunch and off we went, the kids loved it and wanted to keep going. It's always fun to spend time at the cabin together as a family. We saw Elk, Moose, Chipmunks, Ducks and even a Fox this time! Here are some pictures:
