Happy Birthday Jake!

Happy Birthday Jake! I don't know who was more excited about Jake's birthday, him or the kids! Probably the kids! They were very excited to give him presents and were very proud of their wrapping jobs and the pictures they drew on the wrapping paper. We also had some yummy cake to celebrate!

IHOP, Just Girls!

Shalise and I went on a little date to IHOP a couple Saturdays ago. She has been begging me to take her on a date! If you can't tell from this picture, she was very excited!! Sometimes it's nice when there's no boys! :)

Spring Break!

Well the kids sure had a fun Spring Break! It wasn't a very warm one outside so we did a lot of inside activities this time! We went to 2 indoor swimming pools with some friends, we did get to the park one of the days and we also went on Ranger ride and followed Carson on his little motorcycle. They kids played a lot inside, I think sometimes they forget how many toys they have since they are at school all the time and don't get to play with them much! It was nice to have a break from school and do some fun family activities!

MOAB 2013

Well Moab 2013 did not disappoint! This is the trip that our family really looks forward to every year and we had such a great time. This is probably the best weather we have ever had! It was 75 degrees the whole time we were there! We spent the time doing a lot of the same as always. :) We went on some fun family rides and the kids enjoyed doing crafts and other things around the campsite. Jake bought Carson a motorcycle a few days before we left so he spent all his free time riding it and loved it! There are a lot of kids that go that have motorcycles so he was so excited to be a part of that this year. We had Easter out there again this year. The boys got some fun Star Wars things from the Easter Bunny and they each got a T-shirt. I think the highlight of Shalise's trip was all the little girls she got to play with. They did crafts and played with magnet dolls, and beaded necklaces and she was just in girl heaven! Marcus got to ride another little boy's motorcycle a little bit and he loved it. He would wear his helmet around for a long time just patiently waiting to have a turn. He also had fun making some beaded crafts. Carson of course loved the motorcycle and I think the highlight of his trip was the "race track" the Dad's made for the kids the last day. It was complete with a mudhole and everything. Carson and the other kids rode that track for hours that day! The dads even had a little race on the kids motorcycles, the kids all though it was hilarious! It was a really fun trip and we all had a great time being there with friends and enjoying rides and just the beautiful scenery that Moab has!
