Jr.Jazz

Carson just finished playing Jr. Jazz. For the most part he really enjoyed it. I think he liked the practices better than the games because they were a little more low key. He did a great job and is getting better at shooting and dribbling and working with a team. Carson was also lucky to get his grandparents to come watch one of his games. They are always so supportive and it really meant a lot to Carson to have them come watch him! Carson had a great coach who was super nice and was really good with him and all his little friends. He wanted to make sure the kids had fun while learning their "skills". Thanks Coach Barlow! And maybe we will get lucky enough to get him as a coach again next year! :)

Enjoying the Spring-like Weather!

Well we sure have been enjoying this Spring-like weather! We have had some great warm days! The boys love to play out on the side of our house in the "dirt piles". We are getting ready to do our yard, so there is a lot of dirt to play in. We have also done some Ranger and 4Wheeler rides up the mountain next to our house. We have also gone a couple times to a new park by our house that the kids think is pretty fun! We did a picnic last week and have been playing outside a lot! We hope the weather stays this way!

Crazy Kids

The kids were being a little crazy and hyper today but I love it when they want me to take their pictures. They did some cute poses!

Paul Millsap from The Jazz

Paul Millsap came last week to Carson's school. Compared to last year's player, it was a little bit of a letdown, he wasn't as outgoing and just nice and friendly like Jeremy Evans was. He acted a little too cool to be there which is dissapointing since he's one of their biggest players. Carson even mentioned that he liked the player last year better. I told him that he should just feel lucky that he got to meet him and stuff. And getting these pictures was not easy. We could tell he did not want to take pictures. Good thing I know the Jazz rep that was with him, she came with the player last year and remembered me. I asked her if it was ok to get a picture and she looked at him like, ya she was in charge of the whole program so you need to take a picture with her. So here are some pictures and we're proud to say that now we have these kind of pictures with 2 Jazz Players! :)

Sumo Wrestling at Carson's School

I recently did an assembly at Carson's school where some of the teachers Sumo Wrestled each other. The students met their reading goal so that was their reward. Throughout the month of reading they were able to earn gold coins which they got to put into some jars that I had for each teacher that was willing to Sumo Wrestle. The 4 teachers with the most coins were picked to Sumo Wrestle and then 2 other teachers did a minute to win it type of thing in between the two wrestling matches. They dressed up as Batman and Spiderman, it was fun and the students really enjoyed it. It was a fun event and the teachers were good sports about it!
