Well Moab this year was a big success and the kids are going to be talking about it for a while! We sure had a lot of fun!
DAY ONE: Our first day there was really warm and the kids were so excited to put on a short sleeve shrit and shorts! We did have some crazy wind though, so after our little hike, we had to eat our picnic in the car! Carson and I got the food out to the picnic table and then turned right back around and we ran back to the car, Carson said it was too windy!!
DAY TWO: This day was even warmer than the first and we enjoyed a lot of time outside. Carson got to ride a motorcycle and loved it. I had to ride it with him and that was interesting... I had to hold up my legs the whole time so I was little sore after but Carson loved it! We also went for a really long ride with all our friends and packed our lunch along. Jeramy at one point started jumping from one machine to another so there is a picture of him suddenly next to Shalise and her saying HEY! The kids had a blast!
DAY THREE: This day was a little cooler so we went from short sleeves to coats! We went on some really fun trails this day. We were gone most of the day again and ate our lunch on the way! We ate dinner outside and the kids got to enjoy the campfire before bed.
DAY FOUR: This was Sunday and it rained and rained and rained some more the whole day! The good thing was that we got to see some cool waterfalls coming off the rocks. We went to church in the morning and Jake had to carry all the kids and me to the car because of all the mud! We came home from church and the Easter bunny had come! Then we did an Easter Egg Hunt inside the trailer because of all the rain. Then we all took a very much needed nap! The kids were down for hours! Jake left for a ride with the guys while we slept and then when we got up Carson insisted on playing out in the mud. I asked the other kids if they wanted to go out and they looked at me like I was crazy! Carson was sure a muddy mess, but he had a great time!
DAY FIVE: This was our last day and Carson enjoyed the mud a little more and then we went for a quick ride and packed up and left. We were so sad to leave after the sun had come back out and everything! It was a fun trip and we all enjoyed it!
