Chess Club Tournament

The boys are in chess club at school and had their first tournament last week. It was a little chaotic, not very organized and lots of lots people everywhere. The boys were kind of nervous and didn't enjoy that part of it too much. But they had a good experience and hopefully next time is more organized and now they know more what to expect.

 

 

Ice Skating

I took the kids ice skating over the Thanksgiving Break. They have been begging to go! Carson did great and skated a lot. Marcus would only go around one time with me and I pretty much had to hold all his body weight up while he leaned on me. Shalise went about 10 feet and screamed bloody murder. She was terrified of falling for some reason... So the two little kids mostly just watched Carson and I skate. Oh well, maybe they will want to do more next time!

 

 

 

 

 

 

Happy 7th Birthday Marcus!

Marcus celebrated his 7th birthday in November. He is getting so big I can't believe it! He had a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cake and got some fun presents. He also got to get checked out of school to go to lunch with Nana and Gramps and he thought that was pretty fun!

 

 

 

 

 

Caden's Football Game

My nephew, Caden, played football this year. His team made it to the championship game and won it! It was really fun to go watch him play, he is growing up!

Halloween Trunk or Treat

Every year we go to a trunk-or-treat at a car dealership. They always have lots of good treats for kids and lots of good coupons for Mom! :) The kids had a great time with their cousin Dante and dressing up in their costumes!

Here are the Halloween Costumes the kids picked out for this year. These pictures were taken the day of the ward party. The kids were so excited to go that they were dressed and ready like 3 hours before the party! I love the costumes they picked out, they looked great!

 

 

 

 

The Pumpkin Patch

We went last week to the Pumpkin Patch for the kids to pick out their Halloween Pumpkins that they wanted to carve. They really like this particular one because of all the tractors they get to play on and they have a couple corn mazes that the kids like to go through. They had a great time.
