Constitution Day

The boys had Constitution Day at school so they got to dress up. Carson looks mad because he didn't like his hat or something... Marcus was very excited and kept telling people he was George Washington. It's always a fun day at school to see kids dressed up from that time era.

Girls Soaking Up Some Sun

The boys went to the cabin last weekend so Shalise and I had a girl's weekend. We went out to dinner that Friday night and then out to breakfast at Kneaders the next morning. Then we decided to go soak up some sun at Cowabunga Bay just the two of us. And as you can see, we were pretty much the only ones there for a good hour or so. So Shalise had the pool pretty much to herself! It was great!

Camping Out On The Deck

The boys have been asking to sleep out in the tent for a LONG time now. So last week Jake decided to set it up and let them camp out on the deck. :) So they boys had a campout and the girls had a slumber party... :)

First Day of Preschool

Shalise started Preschool at the beginning of September. This is her second year and she was very excited to go! She has some of the same friends as last year and some new ones. She is cute when she gets home to tell me the names of all her little friends. I can't believe she will be going to Kindergarten next year!!

4 Little Girls All In A Row

We had a BBQ at Nana and Gramps house on Labor Day. Troy & Christine's family was there as they were getting ready to take McCall and Austin to college. There was also Ben's family, Nick's family and Heather's family. We had some yummy food and had a great game of Volleyball. Then this is what we found the little girls doing, so cute... :)

Gillen Ride Up Isreal Canyon

A couple weeks ago McCall and Austin were in town getting ready to head to BYU Idaho. So Nana and Gramps, Cassie, Taylor, McCall and Austin came over to go on a 4Wheeler ride. We went up the canyon by our house that is called Isreal Canyon and went to the top so we could see the great view of the valley. After we came back and had donuts, jumped on the tramp and played some basketball. It sure was fun!

Boondocks

A couple weeks ago we tried to go to Cowabunga Bay only to find out it was closed... Luckily the owner was giving out free Boondocks passes because they were closed. So the kids weren't too disappointed. So we went to Boondocks and they got to ride bumper boats, go minature golfing and also they each got like 30 free tokens to play video games. We also managed to get about 500 tickets out of a couple of the video games so the kids got some cool prizes before we left. It turned out to be a fun day! :)
