Carson goes to Kindergarten!

Carson headed off to Kindergarten this morning, he was pretty excited so hopefully he had a good day! It's so funny to see him with his backpack, it's almost as big as he is! He was pretty excited about the backpack he picked out so he had me take a picture of it!

Pig 'n Pork Day at The Farm

Thanksgiving Point had Pig'n Pork day at the Farm there so I decided to take the kids to it. Aunt Britta and cousin Avery came with us. They had lots of Pig themed activities for the kids to do, a scavenger hunt, cookie decorating and lots more. It was a fun day!

Herriman Beach

Jake has never been to Herriman beach yet, so the kids decided that is what they wanted to do as a family on Saturday. We had a great time with squirt guns, dump trucks and eating snacks. It was a fun way to spend a Saturday together!

Happy 5th Birthday Carson!!

What a day is all I can say!!! Carson's birthday morning started with him smiling ear to ear when we came in to sing him Happy Birthday! He was so excited to open his presents. He was very excited about the gift cards he got from Nana and doesn't want to spend them now because he just wants to keep the cards! Thanks Nana and Gramps!

So we had a pool party planned for Carson and the weather had other plans! Talk about extreme weather. It was sunny and great when I went out to set up for the party and then an hour later it was pouring rain, hailing everything! My shade tent blew away and got a little mangled, everything got totally wet and up until 5 minutes before the party it was raining and raining and I was starting to wonder what I was going to do with 25 kids INSIDE my house! Yes, you heard that right, 25 kids!! What can I say, this is my social child who has to invite everyone to his party. So I threw some blankets down in my family room, popped some popcorn and put in a movie to have a little "theatre experience" to wait for what the weather was going to do. After all the kids arrived the sun came out and it was great weather again so we hurried out to swim and enjoy it! It lasted until just before the party ended and then we had rain and hail again, so we were very lucky to get the good weather that we did. Despite how many kids there were, they all had a great time and I think the party was a success! Special thanks to Mindy and Heidi for all their help, I would not have survived with you guys!! Here are some pictures including Carson's loot. I think he was pretty spoiled with all the presents he got and he is in motorcycle heaven! I think he got like 9 of them! Thanks to everyone who came and made it such a fun special day for him!

Boating at Utah Lake

Our friends, The Mortensens, invited us to go boating yesterday at Utah Lake and it was a lot of fun! We got to tube, wakeboard, more tubing, more wakeboarding! Parker and Carson loved the tube and rode it together for seriously hours! Carson and Parker also got to try and wakeboard with Tyler and Carson has not stopped talking about it since! He thinks he is pretty big stuff now! We had a really fun time, thanks for inviting us guys!!!
