Ben & Mindy's Kids

We had Ben & Mindy's kids over during the school break. Our kids were in absolute heaven! We don't have sleepovers very often so when we do it's a big deal in the Gillen house! They brought their snow clothes and we hit a sledding hill nearby. The girls all wanted to sled with Ashlyn, poor Ashlyn was probably exhausted by the end! They got to play with their cousins, they put together legos, they played the Wii, they played barbies and dolls and had a great time! We sure enjoyed having them over!

Ranger Sledding

There was actually enough snow over the break this year to go sledding! We got a ton of snow a couple days after Christmas so we took the kids and some of their friends sledding behind the Ranger. It's nice to have the Ranger for fun activities like this and the kids absolutely loved it!

Happy Birthday Shalise!

Happy Birthday to my beautiful Christmas birthday girl! I can't believe she is already 5! I remember looking forward to when my oldest would be 5 and now I can't believe my youngest is already 5! She is such a joy to have in the house. I love her giggles and her girlyness that she adds to our house. She is spunky and determined and loves her little girl toys. I love to listen to her playing with her little dolls or barbies, she is so cute with them! She woke up Christmas morning and the first thing she said to me was that she not 4 anymore, now she is 5 and she can't believe it's her birthday! I was glad that even on Christmas, she was still excited and knew it was her special day too. Here is a picture of her in her Christmas dress that she wore to church and some Christmas earrings I let her wear. She looks so grown up!

Christmas 2012

The kids had a great Christmas this year! They were very excited and it made it even more fun for us! Carson and Marcus got MotorScooters from Santa and Shalise got a doll crib and some dolls. They had so much fun opening all their presents and playing with their toys for days and days til it was time to go back to school! On Christmas we also went to Nana and Gramps for dinner. They sang Happy Birthday to Shalise and then got to open their presents from Nana and Gramps. They had a lot of fun over there playing with their cousins and their new toys! We actually had snow this Christmas break too, so it was really fun to have a "White Christmas". It was so fun to see the kids faces light up when they opened their presents, they are at such a fun age.
