I can't read!

The other day Shalise was looking at a book and getting very annoyed and frustrated. When I finally asked her what the problem was, she throws her hands in the air and yells, "I can't read!". So funny, I could not stop laughing...

Jeremy Evans from the Utah Jazz

As part of the Jazz Reading, another reward for reading is that the top 10 Schools in Utah get to have a Jazz Player come to the school. We made the Top 10 Schools so today Jeremy Evans came to Carson's school. He read a couple books to the kids, answered some questions and did a slam dunk for the kids. I also got to take a picture of him with Carson and as he was leaving he asked Carson to come over and start his Camaro for him. It's a key that you push and it turns the car on, Carson thought it was pretty awesome, so it was a really fun day!

And here is my Jazz Reading wall at the School where we tracked all the students class minutes and everthing:

Sumo Wrestling

As most of you know, the last month or so I have been in charge of the Jazz Reading program at Carson's school. I was in charge of tracking minutes, awarding prizes and motivating the kids to read. They did awesome this year and got lots of fun prizes/awards. The prize they got for reaching their school goal is that they got to watch faculty members do Sumo Wrestling! It was so funny, I could not stop laughing and the kids were flipping out! Here are some pictures:

Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese the other day for a birthday party and I've decided that after being to Incredible Pizza (way cleaner, funner, more arcades, better food etc) that we don't need to eveer go back. The kids had a great time of course, so I guess that is all that matters!
