Outside Dinner With the Kids

So something we like to do when it's nice weather outside is to eat dinner outside instead of having to come in and eat. The kids love this cuz a lot of times many of their little friends will join us. We've had pancake night before, PB&J, frenchtoast... Today was Grilled Cheese sandwiches. The kids loved it! :) And we all loved the awesome fall weather that we had today!!!

It's 1, no 2, no 3 no 4 Spidermans!

Marcus was out playing with his friends today and I went over to the neighbors to check on him and this is what I found:

So that's what he "needed" his Spiderman costume for... :)

Spookapalooza

Yesterday we went to the Spookapalooza at the Expo center. We went with some cousins and some friends. There were a lot of fun things for the kids to do. They had bouncy houses, a magician, hula hooping, a video arcade trailer the kids could play video games in, rock climbing, a rope course, a trick or treat alley where we got lots of candy and lots of coupons for free kids meals, bowling etc and then they had the Princess play area. Lets just say Shalise was in Princess heaven! They had dress ups they could try on, stories to read, they made bracelets, the princesses put make up on the kids. Shalise was in there for like an hour until they kicked her out for maxing out her time limit! Marcus and Carson also played in there with Spiderman, he helped them build a fake brick wall and knock it over. They thought it was pretty awesome. Then of course the Princesses were sure to tell each child that they can have the Princesses come to their house and have their very own party! So I bet you can't guess what Shalise wants now... She has asked me like 5 times today when (not if) Cinderella is going to come to her house for a party. She has not stopped talking about it! It was pretty cute but ya, we won't be having a party anytime soon my little princess, a little too pricey for this mommy!

After the Spookapalooza we went to my work to eat lunch. Heidi and her three kids were with me and my friend Erin with her three kids. So we had this little trail of 9 kids in costumes walking into my work to eat, it was pretty funny. It was a fun way to spend our Fall Break for sure!

Cornbelly's With The Cousins

Today we went to Cornbelly's with the cousins. It was a lot of fun. Shalise is always a good sport with all the boys! Carson loved the little pedal tractors that you can ride. He was racing around that track as fast as he could! Marcus really like the hayride and the bouncy houses and Shalise, well she liked lunch. :) She sat in the wagon half the time eating snacks because what can I say, the girl likes to eat! We were there for a few hours and it was really good weather so that made it even better. I think it was a great way to spend a day off for Fall Break!

Jumping On The Tramp

Nana and Gramps came over the other day for dinner and we spent some "family time" jumping on the tramp. The kids all did their "tricks" for Nana and Gramps to see. We had a fun time with them and it was fun jumping on the tramp all together.

Carson & Marcus Drawing

The boys have gotten into coloring a lot lately which has been so weird cuz Carson has not been one to like coloring. They have colored out on the tramp, in their bedrooms and on the floor. It's been cute to watch them color.

Carson and Marcus made signs on put on their doors telling people who can come in and who can't. I was actually really impressed because this is the first time Carson has tried to write sentences by himself. They yellow marker says" Dad can not come in" and then in blue it say "mom can in" and then there's just a lot of letters and stuff. So maybe what he wrote about Dad wasn't very nice, but I was proud of him for doing it! :) He must have been upset with Dad at the moment...

Here is Marcus's sign on his door. Carson wrote his name on it and the rest if a bunch of M's and S's and the orange Carson also wrote. Anything that looks like an M or a 2 or an i or an S is Marcus. They spent like an hour the other morning doing this, it was cute. :)

Cascade Springs

We went up to Cascade Springs the other day with the kids. It was really pretty and the kids enjoyed walking around. Jake and I were thinking that the last time we've been there was when we took our engagement pictures! So I guess it was time to go back and take pictures this time with the kids! :)
