Our friends, Ashley & Tyler, invited us to go boating on Saturday at Utah Lake. We left our two youngest and Ashley's two youngest at home with a babysitter and just took the 4-year olds, Carson and Paker. Carson wasn't sure what to expect at first, he kept telling me he wanted to row the boat and I told him it wasn't that kind of boat! :) Once we were on the boat, he loved every minute of it! He loved watching everybody wakeboard and keeps asking me when mom and dad are going on the "snowboard" again. He also loved swimming with Parker in the lake and liked playing on the tube as well, although it did take him a little while to want to get on it. We had such a fun time. The weather was a little cloudy at the beginning and it even sprinkled a little bit but we held out and eventually the sun came out for a while. In fact the weather was so deceving that Ashley and I didn't sunscreen as much as we should have and now have quite the sunburns going on! Next time I guess we better use lots of sunscreen even if it is only sunny for like an hour. :)

Here is all of us wakeboarding: Tyler, Ashley, me and Jake.
Parker and Carson had such a fun time together.

It was such a fun day at the Lake, thanks for inviting us Ashley and Tyler!!

Family Pictures

Align Center
We finally had some family pictures taken and I think they turned out pretty good. It's too bad Shalise wasn't smiling, but it was like 9pm so I think she was pretty tired. I'm not sure which one I like best so tell me what you think. :)

4th of July Fun!

For the 4th of July we had a fun filled day! We went on a Rhino ride early in the morning with our neighbors. We went to American Fork Canyon and had a lot of fun! As we were riding, I looked back and saw Marcus and Shalise holding hands, it was so cute! We spent a good part of the day there and then came home, did some yard work, ate dinner and headed to the Riverton Carnival. Carson loved it! He went on all the rides that he could and wished he could go on all the big ones too! My little daredevil... Marcus did not want to go on anything, he kept saying "No rides Mom, Ok?" And Shalise wanted to go on everything as well but unfortunately was too small to go on very many rides. She did enjoy the ones she got to go on and was all smiles! After that our neighbors wanted to watch a movie out in the park in front of our house on their big blow up screen. We decided to let the kids stay up late and watch it. We sure paid for it the next day, we won't talk about how cranky they were... Lesson learned and we will not be doing that again... But it was sure a fun day!

Little Miss Mischief

Hi, my name is Shalise and I just want to tell you that lately, I have been finding the funnest things to play with! I had no idea there was tupperware and towels and all kinds of things in drawers and cupboards! I was so happy that my brothers showed me, they've been holding out! Anyway, while I was in California I found this super fun cupboard to get into in the bathroom. There was toilet paper and soap and it was so much fun. My mom saw me after a while and I made sure to give her a big smile so she would know how happy I was. She says I'm little miss mischief. I don't know what the mischief thing means but I hear her say that to my brothers and when she says it to them it's always after they are having so much fun! So it must be a good thing. I think I like being little miss mischief. :)
