Presidents Weekend

Carson and Marcus were both out of school for President's weekend so we had a long weekend. We ran a bunch of errands, hung out at home and tried to do some fun things to enjoy the break. I took the kids swimming one of the days and they loved it, I don't really have any pictures of Carson because he pretty much just went down the waterslide the whole time. The other two kids played in the shallow water and had fun. Jake and I also took the kids to the movie to see Gnomeo and Juliet. The kids were really good and it was a cute movie. Marcus and Shalise are such good little buddies and they make me laugh. Jake took these pictures of them the other day and I thought they were really cute! :)

Date With Marcus

Marcus wanted to go on a date with me the other day, I told him I had a few things I needed to do but he wanted to come. So he came to my work with me for a little while, then he came with me to get a pedicure. He played his leapster the whole time and was really good, the ladies there commented on how they couldn't believe how good he was and he was very excited to get his nails painted clear color! Then we went to lunch at Mimi's cafe and he thought that was pretty fun. It was a good day with my little Marcus. :)

Food Allergies

We recently had Shalise tested for food allergies and got a huge list of things she is allergic to, including milk, eggs, cheese, dairy, soy, corn, wheat, bananas, oranges, corn syrup, nuts and a couple more. We took her off everything to see which ones bother her more. It has definitely helped her sleeping at night, she is finally sleeping through the night but we have had our share of meltdowns over things she can't eat. Here are a couple pictures of her trying to throw her cup at me cuz she was mad I wouldn't give her cheez-it's, poor girl...

Valentine's Day

Jake was gone the whole week of Valentine's for work so we didn't really do anything special, but he did get me some roses before he left. :)

Incredible Pizza With 1800Contacts

Our holiday party this year was at Incredible Pizza and my kids could not have been more excited! Carson and I got to do GoKarts, LaserTag (which is his new favorite thing and all he talks about now!), Bumper cars and more! The kids all did minature bowling, played arcade games and of course we had pizza! It was a really fun night!
