Winter makes a comeback

Winter made a comeback at the end of February, but as you can see it didn't last very long... Loving the mild winter weather where the kids can be outside all the time!

Kids Fair

 

Took the kids to the Kids Fair in Sandy in February. They kids had a fun time trying out all the cool things there were to do there. They even got free bike helmets! It's always a fun activity to do when it's not quite warm enough to be outside all the time.

Riding with Friends

The kids sure love to go riding with their friends. Carson likes to get lots of practice on his motorcycle and we especially love when the weather holds up all winter and we can ride in the wintertime.

So for my birthday I decided that all I wanted was to go somewhere warm! We spent some time in St George with Ben and Mindy and then went to Vegas. We went to a fun children's museum in St George that the kids loved. We also went to the area that has quarry rock that you can chip out of the mountain. We brought a bunch of it home to put in our water feature, it makes it look awesome when the sun hits it. We also had fun playing at a park. Then we went to Vegas for a couple days, we stayed at a place called the Cancun Resort which was great. No smoking, no casino, lots of fun activities for the kids and a great pool. It was fun and very relaxing to just hang out at the pool all day. We also took the kids to see the M&M factory and the Coke factory, they thought they were pretty cool and also liked the 3D movie that we got to see at the M&M factory. It was definitely a great birthday!
