Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins last night and the kids were so excited! They turned out great, good job Jake!

Pumpkin Patch

We took the kids yesterday to a pumpkin patch to pick out their pumpkins. The kids loved looking at all the pumpkins and picked out some great ones!

High School Friends get Together

Stephanie was in town so Candace was great to plan a get together for all of us to see eachother, it has been a while! We missed Kristie but had so much fun chatting and catching up. It was also a house full of kids for sure! Thanks Candace for having us all over, we had a great time!

Cabin Trip with the Smiths

We went to the cabin last weekend with a friend of Jake's from work, Bill, and his family. We had such a fun time! Shalise loved the girls, I think she was excited to not be the only girl, seems like there are always lots of boys and just her. All the kids did great and played so well together, it was a fun trip!

Hee Haw Farms

We spent some time during fall break going to Hee Haw farms. The kids got to see their cousin Dante, they went on slides, hayrides, in a cornmaze, an animal train and lots more! They had so much fun!! Carson loved the tractors and pedal cars, Marcus loved the big slide and Shalise was obsessed with the animals! She was the only one of the kids that wanted to feed the goats out of her hand and just giggled and giggled when they licked her. She wanted to hold the ducks and touch all the animals, it was pretty cute. Who knew she was such an animal lover! It was a beautiful day when we went too, so the kids had great weather and lots of fun!!

Visiting Dad at Work

We went to visit Jake a couple days ago at work and I had to write about it because of the "wet cement" incident... Jake had just finished pouring a cement job and we came to eat lunch with him. Shalise took off running and I couldn't get to her before she ran right through the wet cement! She made it a few steps then fell on her hands and knees. I never did get a picture because Jake and Orrin got it fixed up so fast but she was freaking out! I have to admit though that the little hand and foot prints were pretty cute! The kids climbed a tree after and here are some pictures:

The Witches at Gardner Village

We spent one of the days of fall break going to see the Witches at Gardner Village. The kids got to see one of their cousisn and had so much fun! Fall is such a fun time and the kids love to see all the Halloween stuff.
