Happy New Year 2010!

On New Year's Eve, Jake and I didn't really do too much. We watched a movie with some friends and I think we were both asleep by 11! New Year's Day Jake and I went to go see a movie with some friends and then we told the kids we would have a slumber party in our front room and watch a movie. Really that means, you can all lay here till you fall asleep and then you're going to your own beds... It was really fun, we blew up the air matress and all piled on it and watched a movie. Shalise was funny cuz she was all over the place for a while and then came over and laid on me and never moved again! Dead asleep! Marcus was asleep soon after and Carson watched the whole movie. Then we put them all in their own beds. It was a fun little slumber party! And I don't have any pictures because my camera wasn't working that day... The following day we decided to take the kids out to Jake's parents house and ride the Rhino and pull sleds behind it. The kids ended up not wanting to ride on the sleds so we just did Rhino rides instead. Carson loved watching the snow kick up off the tires and just laughed and laughed! And every time I looked back at Marcus and Shalise they had big smiles on their faces, they love going for rides!

My kids also love to dance, so here is their Happy New Year dance! 2010 is off to a fun start for our family and we hope it is for yours too!
